This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic and operational support to the Senior Director of Maryland.

• Coordinate and deliver technical assistance to local partnerships focused on high-poverty rural communities throughout Maryland.

• Support initiatives across seven counties in Maryland.

• Collaborate with national partners and thought leaders to enhance community-based strategies and facilitate shared learning.

• Prepare for meetings, stakeholder engagements, and key initiatives.

• Create status reports, executive summaries, and professional presentations.

• Oversee daily operations within the assigned portfolio.

• Manage project timelines, milestones, competing priorities, and deliverables.

• Develop and refine standard operating procedures, templates, and operational documentation.

• Plan and execute meetings, convenings, and events, including logistics, scheduling, travel arrangements, and communications with participants.

• Offer technical assistance, consultation, and ongoing support to partners and stakeholders.

• Support community discussions, stakeholder meetings, and listening sessions.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external partners.

• Supervise, guide, and provide performance oversight for AmeriCorps members, Maryland Service Corps members, interns, and graduate fellows.

• Design presentations and create digital and print materials that convey data, key messages, and strategic priorities.

• Assist with prospect research, grant writing, grant proposals, and funder reports.

• Monitor expenditures, oversee funding allocations, support financial reporting, and maintain grant documentation.

• Perform additional duties that support departmental objectives and PRI's mission.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, management, communications, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in grant administration, program operations, project coordination, or a related field.

• Experience in supporting grant writing, prospect research, fundraising, grant proposals, and funder reports.

• Familiarity with budget administration, project coordination, calendar management, and operational or administrative support.

• Proven ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing, editing, presentation development, and professional correspondence.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Knowledge of grant administration, including implementation, compliance, monitoring, reporting, and financial stewardship.

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and technology platforms for virtual collaboration, learning, and project management.

• A commitment to PRI's mission and a passion for serving rural communities, children, and families.

• Access to reliable transportation.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

• Ability to travel independently throughout Maryland and occasionally on a national level.

• A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Experience working in a nonprofit organization is preferred.

• Experience serving or working with rural communities is preferred.

• Knowledge of Results-Based Accountability principles is preferred.
