This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of delivery performance across a portfolio of programs and projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead the execution process from project initiation through to closeout, guaranteeing readiness, disciplined planning, and effective transitions.
• Foster consistent and predictable outcomes across various concurrent programs.
• Act as the executive-level customer liaison for delivery purposes.
• Establish a governance rhythm, including steering committees and executive reviews.
• Clearly and transparently communicate progress, risks, and decisions.
• Forge strong, trusted relationships with customer stakeholders.
• Oversee cross-functional execution involving Project Management, Engineering, Electrical, Panel Fabrication, Supply Chain, Quality, Installation, Finance, and Commissioning.
• Align internal teams with delivery strategies, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Ensure effective coordination among office, shop, and field environments.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams to guarantee a seamless transition from pre-award to execution.
• Convert scope, assumptions, and estimates into actionable delivery strategies.
• Ensure that commitments are realistic, risk-balanced, and meet customer expectations.
• Establish and uphold program controls, including integrated schedules and cost tracking.
• Drive accuracy in cost-to-complete (CTC) and estimate-at-completion (EAC) forecasting.
• Monitor financial performance, margins, and cash flow across programs.
• Ensure consistent reporting and visibility of performance at the portfolio level.
• Manage program-level risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
• Create escalation paths and encourage timely decision-making.
• Maintain robust scope and change control practices.
• Ensure proper documentation and commercial alignment of changes.
• Protect margins and enhance financial outcomes through disciplined execution.
• Promote a strong safety and quality culture throughout all execution phases.
• Reinforce adherence to Thermo Systems standards and processes.
• Conduct retrospectives and root-cause analyses to enhance delivery performance.
• Drive improvements in estimating, engineering execution, field productivity, and commissioning results.
• Mentor and develop Program Managers, Project Managers, and functional leaders.
• Strengthen leadership capabilities across delivery teams.
• Build a scalable and high-performing program delivery organization.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in delivering complex, customer-facing programs and projects.
• Experience in leading programs that include field installation, commissioning, and start-up elements.
• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent high-value programs successfully.
• PMP or equivalent program/project management certification.
• Strong background in controls systems integration (PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, industrial networking, instrumentation, electrical systems).
• Executive presence with the capability to influence both customer and internal leadership.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting (CTC/EAC), and margin management.
• Strong program controls and operational discipline.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
• Experience in Thermo Systems core markets such as energy, life sciences, manufacturing, mission-critical, or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with regulated environments that require formal documentation and quality systems.
