This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in the analysis and evaluation of the VA health informatics program operations, workstreams, business processes, and project performance.
• Utilize source data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs, workflows, and business processes; identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create and manage action trackers, staffing inputs, status reports, program reports, project management updates, meeting materials, and other operational documentation.
• Aid in the development of lean business cases, feature canvases, feature specifications, performance monitoring inputs, and other IHP Agile Release Train artifacts as required.
• Collaborate with clinical informaticists, scrum masters, agilists, product owners, VA stakeholders, and technical subject matter experts to document decisions, dependencies, risks, and follow-up actions.
• Assist in the documentation for clinical process enhancement, design of clinical digital solutions, testing, implementation, training, and related management activities.
• Support the preparation of dashboards, metrics, and executive-ready summaries utilizing Excel, SharePoint, Office 365, Power BI, Power Automate, or similar tools.
• Participate in continuous process improvement by documenting lessons learned, retrospective findings, and suggestions for enhanced performance.
• A bachelor's degree in health informatics, healthcare administration, public health, business, data analytics, information systems, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in program analysis, health informatics, healthcare operations, business process analysis, or federal consulting projects.
• Relevant clinical informatics experience within a VA or Veterans Administration healthcare environment.
• Understanding of how to plan, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of operational programs and business processes.
• Capability to employ qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess operations and provide recommendations for enhancing business processes.
• Experience in developing program reports, trackers, meeting materials, data summaries, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and other related collaboration tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
