Professional Services Consultant I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define, plan, and execute paid projects related to LMS administration and technical setup.

• Facilitate discovery and requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholders.

• Translate requirements into statements of work that include milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.

• Manage projects across client HR, IT, L&D, and compliance teams.

• Alert the Manager of Professional Services about any risks to project scope or deadlines.

• Set up Absorb LMS environments, which involve configuring departments, roles, enrollment rules, workflows, branding, and e-commerce settings.

• Provide guidance to clients and collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding data migration, SSO, REST API utilization, and scheduled data feeds.

• Collaborate with Technical Services on implementation development and testing processes.

• Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, monitoring budget, timeline, and scope.

• Update clients and internal leadership on engagement status.

• Keep records of configurations, decision logs, and handover documentation.

• Offer consulting assistance to internal teams concerning LMS administration and data inquiries.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing client-facing projects in professional services, consulting, or LMS administration within a SaaS environment.

• Practical experience as an administrator with at least one commercial LMS, such as Absorb, Docebo, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, or Workday Learning.

• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with distinct budgets, timelines, and stakeholder groups through to sign-off.

• Familiarity with SAML 2.0, OIDC, REST APIs, and flat-file data feeds.

• Proficiency in creating reports, validating imports, and explaining findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, AICC, and integrations with HRIS or HCM is advantageous.

• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

• Must successfully complete pre-employment background checks, including a criminal record investigation.

• Must provide evidence of legal eligibility to work in the country applied for without need for sponsorship.
