Professional Services Consultant I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Define, plan, and execute paid projects encompassing LMS administration and technical configurations.

• Facilitate discovery and requirements sessions with client stakeholders while drafting statements of work that include milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.

• Oversee projects across client HR, IT, L&D, and compliance teams, ensuring that commitments are fulfilled and escalating any potential scope or deadline issues.

• Set up Absorb LMS environments, which includes configuring departments, roles, enrollment rules, workflows, branding, and e-commerce settings.

• Provide guidance to clients and collaborate with internal stakeholders on data migration, SSO, REST API implementation, and scheduled data feeds.

• Collaborate with Technical Services on project builds and testing.

• Manage multiple ongoing projects, monitoring budget, timeline, and scope, while reporting progress to clients and internal leadership.

• Keep configuration records, decision logs, and handover documentation updated.

• Offer advice to internal teams regarding LMS administration and data inquiries that go beyond standard support.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing client-facing projects in professional services, consulting, or LMS administration within a SaaS organization.

• Practical experience as an administrator with at least one commercial LMS, such as Absorb, Docebo, Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors, or Workday Learning.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through to sign-off, each with distinct budgets, timelines, and stakeholder groups.

• Familiarity with SAML 2.0, OIDC, REST APIs, and flat-file data feeds.

• Proficiency in building reports, validating data imports, and communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, AICC, and HRIS or HCM integrations is advantageous.

• PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.

• Must provide proof of legal eligibility to work in the country applied for without sponsorship.

• Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment background checks, including a criminal record review.
