Professional Services Consultant, FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the initiation of FP&A projects, encompassing alignment on project scope, defining success criteria, and establishing delivery timelines.

• Assist clients in navigating the FP&A system, ensuring proper user access and security configurations.

• Propel projects towards formal completion, guaranteeing knowledge transfer and readiness for the customer.

• Confirm the accuracy of financial outputs by cross-referencing them with ERP source data.

• Aid customers in developing financial statements that are suitable for executive review.

• Create and tailor budgeting and forecasting models to meet client needs.

• Validate workflows and budget logic in collaboration with customer stakeholders.

• Provide guidance on best practices for data governance within the FP&A framework.

• Ensure timely completion of project deliverables, proactively identifying issues or circumstances that could affect the original project timeline or budget.

• Achieve utilization targets while delivering project outcomes punctually.

• Exhibit extensive functional knowledge of the modules related to their certification track.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–7+ years of experience in areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Management Accounting, Financial Systems Consulting, or ERP/EPM implementation services.

• Practical experience in delivering consulting engagements that involve direct customer interaction.

• Familiarity with financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Trial Balance.

• Understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Exposure to ERP systems, such as Epicor Kinetic or equivalent platforms.

• Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks.

• Prior experience in Professional Services or implementation consulting is highly preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
