Professional Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Implement the Clinisys Software and related applications in laboratories and with other clients as directed by the Project Manager to meet customer and business needs.

• Serve in a consultative capacity with customers to configure the Clinisys Software, enhancing laboratory workflow.

• Take the lead on analyser interfacing with customers.

• Be a key contributor to the functional development of Clinisys Products.

• Stay informed about current and upcoming Laboratory regulations, practices, products, and technologies.

• Proactively promote, initiate, and execute quality improvement projects in collaboration with the Delivery leadership.

• Conduct project-based activities as directed to fulfill customer and business requirements where applicable.

• Adhere to Clinisys codes of conduct and guidelines.

• Understand, comply with, and develop customer and Clinisys procedures, practices, and directives in a timely manner.

• Grasp customers’ workflows, advising and assisting with Clinisys products and configurations to meet their needs.

• Map, configure, troubleshoot, and link analysers to the appropriate middleware and Winpath LIMS.

• Be fully knowledgeable about the functionality of products within your discipline.

• Understand the core functionalities of all products.

• Assist the Project Manager with implementation tasks, including time management, resource planning, and collaboration with customer representatives.

• Utilize AI-enabled tools to support project delivery activities, such as task planning, time management, status reporting, customer workshops, and preparation of summaries for customers and leadership, ensuring efficient and high-quality implementations in an AI-first environment.

• Advocate for responsible AI usage in delivery and customer interactions, ensuring daily AI tool usage aligns with Clinisys’ AI governance, data protection, and quality standards, and escalate any risks, concerns, or non-compliance to the Project Manager or Delivery leadership.

• Consistently achieve and maintain performance against established utilization targets, ensuring optimal project time allocation while minimizing non-productive times.

• Understand customer requirements as detailed in the Project Initiation Document (PID).

• Contribute to the development of the Software product.

• Provide recommendations based on customer feedback concerning software modifications and enhancements.

• Conduct relevant training courses for key users as needed.

• Attend team meetings and participate in agreed training sessions.

• Respond positively to reasonable requests from your line manager or project managers.

• Support team members and contribute to building a knowledge base.

⛳️ Requirements

• BMS 2 or above status in the UK Healthcare sector.

• Equivalent standing or experience in sectors such as life sciences and public health.

• Willingness to travel throughout the UK and, where appropriate, internationally.

• Driving Licence.

• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and the ability to utilize them to enhance processes and outcomes.

• Strong motivational abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical clients and staff at various organizational levels.

• High commitment levels and readiness to take necessary actions.

• Ability and eagerness to work independently.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Capability to create and deliver executive-level summary reports and presentations.

• IT training; experience with HL7, integration products (e.g., Rhapsody), XML, or Java scripting is advantageous.
