This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead professional development workshops for school districts through various formats, including virtual live webinar trainings.
• Conduct in-person workshops.
• Provide on-demand video recordings.
• Employ a consultative approach to showcase how eDL’s courses and services align with instructional objectives, district initiatives, and student success.
• Deliver engaging, professional, and well-structured sessions that meet eDL's quality standards.
• Review relevant notes and background information about the district before each engagement.
• Tailor workshop materials as necessary to meet district goals, initiatives, and challenges, utilizing eDL-provided templates and approved resources.
• Organize sessions using eDL’s professional development modules to ensure consistency, flexibility, and alignment across all workshops.
• Collaborate with eDL staff and the Professional Development Scheduler to guarantee seamless planning and execution of sessions.
• Offer continuous feedback and suggestions for the ongoing enhancement of eDL workshops and trainer resources.
• Engage in co-led training sessions, onboarding processes, and periodic updates as needed. Training schedules are established by mutual agreement between the Trainer and eDL.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in delivering professional development, instructional coaching, training, or facilitation for educators or school personnel.
• Proven experience collaborating with K–12 school districts, online/blended learning programs, or digital curriculum providers.
• Experienced in facilitating both virtual and in-person professional learning sessions.
• Strong grasp of effective instructional practices, learning theories, and professional learning design.
• Comfortable working in a consultative, client-facing capacity.
• Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to customize professional learning experiences to align with district goals and educator requirements.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; proficient in managing multiple training sessions and preparation timelines.
• Collaborative approach, able to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and adaptability in dynamic training environments.
• High familiarity with various learning platforms (Google Classroom, Buzz, Canvas, and Schoology).
• Proficient in using virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and learning management systems.
• Comfortable using presentation tools and digital resources to enhance instruction (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Travel expenses are reimbursed.
