This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and dispatch final transcript packages within the designated timelines.
• Ensure that transcripts are complete, accurate, compliant, and in accordance with client-specific guidelines.
• Generate alternate file formats and supplementary materials, including PDF, Word, text, condensed versions, indexes, exhibits/attachments, and certification pages.
• Conduct standard quality-control checks following established checklist protocols.
• Adhere to departmental protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and checklists.
• Guarantee that deliverables and processes are in compliance with jurisdiction-specific regulations.
• Address client and external-user communications via email and phone through the CRM system.
• Report any missing information, conflicting instructions, deadline risks, and system errors.
• Collaborate with internal teams on special requests, such as expedited orders.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company, client, and business information.
• Oversee workflow and the work product pipeline in coordination with the Production Manager, Order Review Specialist, and Assignment Specialists.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Familiarity with YesLaw is preferred.
• Prior experience in legal transcription, scoping, proofreading, and/or court reporting is highly valued.
• Strong file management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and active listening abilities.
• Professional demeanor with a client-focused approach.
• Dependability and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, videoconferencing platforms, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM systems.
• Comfort with typing, operating softphones, and learning new tools.
• Skills in file type management and conversion.
• Ability to adapt to process changes in a dynamic legal technology environment.
• Capability to multitask and prioritize client needs based on time sensitivity.
• Reliable high-speed internet access and a private, secure workspace are required.
• Ability to work for extended periods at a computer workstation.
• Capacity to perform repetitive typing, keyboarding, and mouse/input-device motions.
• Ability to view computer screens, read digital documents, and analyze information for extended durations.
• Capability to occasionally move home office equipment weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Willingness to travel to nearby areas or states as necessary.
• Primarily remote work from a home office or an approved remote work location.
• Limited travel for training, meetings, or other business requirements.
• Access to secure, company-approved technology platforms.
• Some evening or weekend work may be available or required based on client needs or emergencies.
