Production Representative – Heavy Equipment and Truck Inspector, Mechanic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all elements of the online inspection and production process, encompassing heavy equipment and truck inspections, research, photography/video, descriptions, and logistics.

• Evaluate construction and industrial equipment and machinery for online sales and remarketing purposes.

• Prepare equipment, conduct minor repairs, and generate auction listings.

• Collaborate with customers, assisting in loading and unloading, providing support, and troubleshooting issues.

• Organize and coordinate heavy equipment inspections with partners and clients.

• Offer construction equipment and customer support as necessary.

• Uphold exceptional customer service standards for both sellers and buyers, managing inquiries and disputes while achieving favorable resolutions.

• Conduct research on a diverse array of assets using internet and various sources.

• Develop, maintain, implement, and adhere to policies and practices that ensure safe and effective operations.

• Craft professional, detailed, accurate, and globally appealing asset descriptions targeted at buyers.

• Collaborate with all sectors of the business to guarantee satisfaction for both buyers and sellers.

• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the business and foster positive changes in processes and capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with heavy equipment and machinery, including construction equipment, agricultural machinery, trucks, or industrial equipment.

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical, fleet, rental, service, or related equipment fields.

• Extensive background in customer engagement, service, and support.

• Strong mechanical skills and diagnostic expertise with equipment.

• Good level of proficiency in computer skills, applications, and internet usage.

• Some familiarity with photography and/or video is recommended.

• Strong experience in people, partner, and team management.

• Experience with internet technologies, including eBay, is beneficial but not essential.

• Capability to manage projects involving multiple tasks, resources, and customer interactions.

• Keen attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to climb onto and routinely inspect large construction equipment.

• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including travel to customer sites.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively within a team.

• A helpful background in heavy equipment and machinery, construction equipment rental, service and sales/marketing, auction sales, or remarketing.

• Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a startup, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented setting.
