This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the entire production queue: from intake and prioritization to assignment, building, quality assurance, and launch of campaigns on various platforms including email, push notifications, SMS, in-app messages, landing pages, and new channels.
• Conduct a 15-minute daily stand-up meeting to prioritize daily tasks and guide the workload of two production developers.
• Act as the intermediary between campaign stakeholders and the production team, transforming vague requests into clear and actionable production briefs.
• Engage in hands-on campaign production, which includes audience building using SQL, content creation, assembling multi-step journeys, and conducting quality assurance.
• Establish and uphold quality standards that encompass content accuracy, rendering, audience logic, suppression rules, and targeting criteria.
• Implement privacy and compliance regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, opt-in/opt-out preferences) for every campaign as the final checkpoint before launch.
• Anticipate capacity needs, estimate effort levels, set realistic timelines with stakeholders, and proactively prevent bottlenecks that could delay the queue.
• Manage the marketing automation platform: ensure templates and shared infrastructure are maintained, document best practices, and educate cross-functional partners on tool capabilities.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding campaign strategy and channel recommendations, suggesting more efficient or effective methods as appropriate.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign production, or digital communications, with a background in leading campaigns or production workflows in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Practical experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms such as Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Braze (candidates with experience limited to entry-level tools like Mailchimp will not qualify).
• Proficient in SQL: capable of reading queries, understanding joins and logic, editing templates, and identifying errors (building from scratch is not necessary).
• A solid understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and opt-in/opt-out regulations as they pertain to campaign production.
• Experience in developing multi-channel, multi-step journeys and automations, rather than just single sends.
• Strong stakeholder management skills: able to intake requests, manage expectations, and influence decisions without direct authority.
• Comfortable working under urgency and ambiguity, possessing the judgment to adapt processes when necessary while ensuring quality checks are not overlooked.
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
• Flexible working hours and remote work options.
• Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
• A collaborative and inclusive work environment.
