This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico, +2 more states.
• Lead client engagements from initiation to closure or ongoing managed-service delivery.
• Create and uphold project plans, timelines, budgets, and documentation within Planview.
• Track project progress, modify schedules, and oversee scope adjustments.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings, status updates, milestone evaluations, and overall project communications.
• Coordinate teams in Instructional Design, Creative, Development, Quality Assurance, and Learning Strategy.
• Identify and eliminate project obstacles; escalate risks and issues as necessary.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
• Recognize project risks, formulate mitigation plans, and monitor issue resolution.
• Ensure all necessary reviews are conducted prior to client delivery.
• Manage contracts with federal, state, local government, and educational entities.
• Construct and sustain integrated schedules, Gantt charts, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Prepare monthly status updates and other contractual deliverables.
• Monitor project funding and budget utilization.
• Assist with contract modifications and scope adjustments.
• Lead customer status meetings and technical evaluations with government stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to government and military facilities as needed.
• Maintain project documentation that is ready for audit and compliance.
• Facilitate project retrospectives and closure meetings.
• Recommend and apply ongoing process enhancements.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects or production within the learning and development sector.
• Familiarity with instructional design principles and eLearning production processes.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Proficient in using project management software and collaborative tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) is advantageous.
• Over 3 years of experience managing projects under U.S. Government contracts as a prime contractor or subcontractor.
• Experience producing recurring government deliverables, including monthly status reports, integrated schedules, and executive briefings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar scheduling tools to create and manage Gantt charts.
• U.S. Citizenship with the capability to successfully pass a federal background check.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%, including visits to client sites and military facilities.
• An active or recently active Secret Security Clearance or higher is preferred.
• Military service or prior experience as a U.S. Government civilian is desirable.
• Experience supporting federal learning and development programs is a bonus.
• Approximately 25% travel required for customer meetings, program reviews, and project engagements.
