Production Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tunisia.

📋 Description

• Manage and sustain infrastructures with stringent availability standards.

• Identify, resolve, and analyze incidents (N2+ and N3).

• Engage in migration and integration initiatives.

• Create technical documentation (DAT, DEX).

• Offer analytical and design insights on medium to complex architectures.

• Actively recommend improvements to elevate service quality.

• Provide internal consulting and engage in cross-functional activities:

• Assist in quantifying project efforts.

• Advise both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding IT system components.

• Convert functional requirements into technical architecture.

• Offer guidance or training on recurring tasks.

• Drive initiatives to industrialize, standardize, and automate repetitive operations.

• Ensure optimal IT performance for our clients.

• Suggest technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced education (Master’s level / Bac+4/5) — degree in engineering or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of experience in an IT services company (ESN), ideally in a managed services/outsourcing environment.

• Fluent in French (spoken).

• Proficient in English.

• Expertise in the following environments:

• Open Source: Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Apache, Postfix, OpenLDAP.

• Microsoft: Active Directory, File Servers, DNS, Windows.

• Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, vSphere, KVM, etc.

• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.

• Databases: SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL (highly valued).

• Automation: Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.

• Security: Fortinet firewall, proxy and reverse proxy, antivirus (Kaspersky, McAfee, Sophos, etc.).

• Messaging: Microsoft Exchange and associated messaging infrastructure components; Office 365.

• Networking: Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking is essential.

• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash/Shell, Python.

• Public Cloud: Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud; AWS or Azure certifications are advantageous.
