Engineering Manager, DGX Cloud Production Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of software and production engineers in the development and management of DGX Cloud infrastructure across both NVIDIA Cloud Partner and on-premises environments.

• Propel execution in cluster operations, Kubernetes functionality, automation, GitOps, observability, and incident management.

• Establish team priorities, develop roadmaps, manage staffing, and take operational ownership.

• Collaborate with platform, workload, storage, networking, security, and TPM teams to enhance production readiness.

• Foster a positive on-call and incident review culture that emphasizes learning, accountability, and sustainable solutions.

• Guide engineers, cultivate technical leaders, and define clear ownership within complex problem areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of overall industry experience.

• At least 2 years in a leadership or management role overseeing engineers.

• Demonstrated expertise in building or managing production infrastructure, cloud platforms, Kubernetes environments, or distributed systems.

• Robust understanding of reliability engineering, automation, observability, incident response, and operational excellence.

• Proven ability to work efficiently across teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Excellent communication skills, strong prioritization abilities, and sound judgment in fast-paced settings.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Experience leading SRE, production engineering, infrastructure automation, or platform teams.

• Knowledge of GPU infrastructure, Kubernetes fleet operations, GitOps, BMaaS/VMaaS, managed Kubernetes, or multi-cloud environments.

• A history of reducing manual effort, enhancing SLOs, and transforming operational tasks into automated systems.
