This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Precisely assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes to professional services in accordance with the latest coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory standards.
• Analyze office, operative, and procedure notes to assign appropriate codes and modifiers for compliance and maximized reimbursement.
• Serve as a liaison and coding expert for ancillary departments, administration, and physicians by addressing queries and providing support as challenges arise.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant coding standards, organizational protocols, and documentation regulations.
• Maintain a coding accuracy rate of at least 95% through ongoing quality assurance and involvement in both internal and external audits.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required.
• AAPC Coding Certification(s) from AHIMA or AAPC is essential.
