This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Effectively and appropriately communicate with team members and management of the firm.
• Review, sign/file, or reject legal pleadings, papers, motions, defaults, garnishments, discovery, etc., in support of ongoing litigation cases.
• Analyze litigation case files, dockets, and pleadings to determine the necessary actions.
• Use internal proprietary software to accurately update and document the status of each account within the assigned inventory.
• Work efficiently to meet or surpass production targets.
• Adhere to all client and firm standard operating procedures.
• Assess case merits, evaluate risk exposure, and offer strategic legal recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
• Hold multiple state bar licenses and/or be willing to obtain additional bar licenses as needed by the firm.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Eager to learn.
• Capability to manage and prioritize a substantial caseload.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals or groups, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in operating a computer, phone, or similar device.
• Available to complete a flexible workweek schedule of at least 40 hours.
