Product Owner – RangeOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define, uphold, and communicate the vision, roadmap, and release strategy for the RangeOS product.

• Transform operational, customer, and stakeholder requirements into distinct, actionable requirements and user stories.

• Prioritize the product backlog to enhance mission impact, technical feasibility, and delivery speed.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment among requirements, design, and implementation.

• Coordinate with cyber range operators, exercise planners, and multi-vendor partners to validate capabilities and workflows.

• Assist in deployment planning, release readiness, and integration across RCS, ECS, and cloud environments.

• Create and maintain product documentation, feature briefs, and materials for customers.

• Act as the primary advocate for the customer, ensuring that RangeOS capabilities align with operational training goals.

• Work with engineering to develop solution designs that satisfy both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Validate completed features against established requirements and mission needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• 8570 IAT Level II certification.

• Over 5 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or technical leadership positions.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and backlog management practices.

• Experience collaborating with full-stack development teams and modern software architectures.

• Familiarity with cyber ranges, cyber training platforms, or simulation environments.

• Understanding of orchestrated training events, exercise lifecycle, and integration of multi-vendor tools.

• Ability to navigate complex environments that involve RCS, ECS, cloud, and hybrid deployments.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
