• Advocate for ongoing incremental innovation and enhancement of our product in alignment with the product vision and roadmap.
• Work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to oversee (development, QA, UX/UI teams) and report on the outcomes of product releases.
• Partner with Product Managers to secure internal governance approvals for new capabilities or use cases, as well as to obtain necessary funding.
• Collaborate with Development, Implementation, and Support teams on backlog and capacity management, balancing features, support tasks, technical debt, and improvements.
• Direct the prioritization of the self-pay, payment gateway, and billing backlog to optimize delivery of business value.
• Design a scalable, API-driven payment architecture with a strong emphasis on security and compliance with HIPAA/PCI standards.
• Ensure a mutual understanding of scope, priorities, and the Definition of Ready/Done.
• Convert business requirements into precise user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Assist in product launches and collect user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure that product features adhere to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Utilize SQL to analyze data, validate assumptions, and support analytical processes.
• Over 3 years of experience in a Product Owner capacity.
• More than 2 years of experience with healthcare technology or SaaS platforms.
• At least 2 years of experience with payments technology.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
