Product Owner / Manager – AI Risk & Fraud Detection

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization for an innovative AI-driven security and risk solution.

• Collaborate closely with pilot customers, conduct discovery interviews, and transform customer feedback into actionable product decisions.

• Gather, organize, and formalize Voice of the Customer insights from pilot programs, customer interactions, and market research.

• Convert customer requirements, business objectives, and technical limitations into product specifications and delivery priorities.

• Work in partnership with engineering and machine learning teams to facilitate MVP delivery and product iterations.

• Contribute to shaping the product strategy, encompassing product objectives, success metrics, and indicators of commercial impact.

• Lead and coordinate the definition and prototyping of UX/UI for initial product workflows in collaboration with design and engineering teams.

• Assist in go-to-market initiatives, including the development of value propositions, demo scenarios, product presentations, and sales enablement resources.

• Collaborate closely with Sales during the qualification phase, discovery, pilot programs/POCs, and initial commercial discussions.

• Leverage modern AI tools in everyday product tasks to expedite prototyping, exploration, and workflow design.

⛳️ Requirements

• A solid subject-matter expertise in cybersecurity, fraud, brand protection, risk, compliance, or related fields, along with practical product ownership or product-related experience.

• Strong domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas: cybersecurity, fraud prevention, brand protection, risk, compliance, trust & safety, investigations, CTI, SOC, or related sectors.

• Practical experience taking a product, pilot, or internal capability to a market-ready solution.

• A solid background in customer discovery, pilots/POCs, feedback loops, roadmap development, backlog management, and prioritization.

• Experience closely collaborating with customers and commercial teams during early-stage product validation.

• A practical understanding of security and risk concepts, including threat types, fraud scenarios, signal-to-noise ratios, false positives/negatives, threat scoring, and risk prioritization.

• Experience working with AI- or data-driven features in conjunction with ML/Data Science teams.

• Comfort in shaping early UX/UI workflows, engaging in rapid prototyping, and iterative feedback cycles.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with customers in domain-specific discussions.

• Strong sense of ownership and a business-oriented mindset, focusing on outcomes, adoption, commercial traction, and revenue impact.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and less structured environment.
