Product Owner, Localization & Billing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for localization preparedness, particularly in the billing sector.

• Manage and uphold the product backlog, prioritizing tasks independently.

• Specify and enhance requirements in collaboration with engineering leaders and relevant stakeholders.

• Lead international launches and market entries.

• Work closely with Finance, Legal/Compliance, and Customer Operations teams.

• Oversee service providers and incorporate third-party solutions.

• Maintain and communicate a roadmap that effectively balances new market entries with regulatory adjustments.

• Ensure clear and open collaboration across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar position within a SaaS/platform setting.

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Strong ownership mentality and practical experience with contemporary product methodologies.

• Established expertise in international billing systems, invoicing, and localization processes.

• Comprehensive understanding of international tax compliance regulations.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities in both German and English.

• Methodical, organized, and decisive approach to work.

• Prior experience in the e-mobility sector is advantageous.

• Integrate AI technologies into everyday operations.
