
Product Owner β Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Take ownership of the product backlog for business system integrations (ERP, CRM) as well as external integrations (EDI, third-party APIs, compliance agencies).
β’ Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
β’ Oversee integration requirements across EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, AS2) and ensure compliance with mandates including e-invoicing and tax reporting.
β’ Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
β’ Facilitate delivery ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the team remains aligned with the product vision and priorities.
β’ Monitor integration health and proactively seek out gaps, risks, or opportunities for enhancement within the integration landscape.
β’ Work alongside architects to ensure that integration designs adhere to enterprise standards, scalability needs, and long-term platform strategies.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst within a software or enterprise integration environment.
β’ Strong knowledge of ERP and CRM platforms (SAP, D365, Salesforce, or similar) and their integration with the larger enterprise.
β’ Practical understanding of EDI standards: X12, EDIFACT, AS2 β familiarity with documents such as 850, 856, and 810 is essential.
β’ Experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Event Hub, or Service Bus) or comparable iPaaS platforms.
β’ Knowledge of compliance integration requirements including e-invoicing mandates or tax reporting obligations (e.g., GST/HST, VAT, SAF-T).
β’ Strong skills in stakeholder management β comfortable presenting to both technical teams and executive sponsors.
β’ Proficient in Agile/Kanban methodologies, with experience in owning and refining a product backlog.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical complexities in clear business language.
β’ Fluent in both French and English, in written and spoken forms (this role entails interaction with our international collaborators and customers).
