This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The Product Owner - Project Alignment serves as a pivotal link between Product Owners and Project Management, ensuring smooth project execution.
• You will engage with various teams at SpryPoint (such as Solutions Architects, Sales, and Proposals) as well as Clients to foster effective resolutions.
• You will possess genuine authority to integrate development process insights into discussions with Project Managers, aiding them in comprehending the rationale behind tasks.
• Identify and communicate risks, ensuring all areas remain synchronized.
• Gather and interpret Project Management and Product Owner concerns to keep all parties well-informed.
• Challenge unrealistic commitments and suggest viable alternatives.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or a related role (such as BA with PO responsibilities, Solution Consultant, or Technical Product Manager) in a B2B environment, with hands-on experience generating project documentation and collaborating with development teams.
• Proven experience in both Product and Project Management frameworks.
• Proficient in estimation techniques — you can differentiate between order-of-magnitude and committed estimates and can justify an estimate under pressure.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills — you can facilitate discussions in mixed business and technical groups and achieve consensus.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity — you embrace unclear scope and work to clarify it.
• Skilled in risk identification — you present risks in a manner that prompts action rather than merely flagging them.
• Proficient in Jira and Confluence; actively utilize modern AI tools in your workflow.
