Product Owner I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Elevate the client's voice while interpreting their needs effectively.

• Collaborate with clients to evaluate business requirements and align the product roadmap with strategic objectives.

• Conduct research and analysis on the client's market, product users, and project roadmap.

• Identify and document epics, features, and user stories.

• Define backlog items that provide direction for agile development teams.

• Engage in continuous learning with the team through collaborative efforts.

• Work alongside stakeholders in the visioning and concept development phases of a product.

• Participate in technical discussions related to application products with development team members.

• Lead workshops for story sessions.

• Draft acceptance criteria for user stories during sprint planning meetings.

• Be prepared to make product-related decisions and take responsibility for those choices.

• Evaluate value, create cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure focus on tasks that align with the product strategy.

• Create and maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.

• Establish timeframes for the completion of backlog items, ensuring they align with the overall product strategy.

• Write and update user documentation for products.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to the product.

• Develop comprehensive specifications for product features to ensure clarity for the development team.

• Operate in accordance with agile practices while enhancing your understanding of agile project management.

• 3-5 years of experience in product ownership or a related role.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both clients and internal team members.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Capability to inspire and influence members of the product and development teams.

• Proactive approach and willingness to innovate existing products and processes.

• Enjoyment of collaboration and a team-oriented mindset.

• Experience in an agency setting and scrum certification is a plus.
