Product Owner, Finance Domain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the finance and reimbursement backlog — prioritize tasks based on real impact rather than distractions.

• Convert reimbursement policies and payer requirements into actionable user stories that include clear acceptance criteria.

• Engage directly with clinics to gain insights into how billing operates on the ground, including challenges and workarounds.

• Ensure multiple teams are aligned and progressing in the finance domain without hindering their momentum.

• Make daily decisions balancing compliance with speed, focusing on depth in specific markets versus creating scalable solutions.

• Collaborate with Design to ensure that billing workflows appear straightforward, even when the underlying logic is complex.

• Test ideas early with clinics and subject matter experts.

• Eliminate poor prospects during the discovery phase rather than after a sprint.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product ownership or management, specifically in billing, invoicing, claims, or reimbursement.

• Ability to craft stories and acceptance criteria that do not require further clarification.

• Familiarity with regulatory details — capable of interpreting a reimbursement policy and translating it into requirements independently.

• Skillful in prioritizing tasks when everything seems urgent.

• Proficient in managing stakeholders with differing opinions to reach a consensus everyone can accept.

• Comfortable presenting functionality — able to convey the 'why' in addition to the 'what'.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken (B2+ level).
