This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for the functional development of our ERP system Odoo, with an emphasis on financial processes and their associated end-to-end chains—covering Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, and other pertinent accounting processes.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to align objectives, scope, and priorities.
• Oversee the backlog by translating business requirements into actionable work packages, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring comprehensive documentation.
• Prioritize features, tasks, and bugs while continuously enhancing the issues board with a well-defined structure.
• Take ownership of roadmap topics from concept through to implementation.
• Monitor scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring transparent communication regarding status, risks, and decisions.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Odoo.
• Senior-level expertise in Accounting & Finance within an ERP context (e.g., closing, reporting, controls, compliance).
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) as well as traditional approaches (e.g., Waterfall, classical project management), with the capability to apply both effectively based on the context.
• Assertiveness coupled with an analytical, structured, and pragmatic work style.
• A business background or a degree in STEM/business administration (or a comparable qualification).
• Proficient in written and spoken English (required); French is a plus; German is an advantage.
