
Product Owner, ERP – Odoo, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Accountable for the functional development of our ERP system Odoo, concentrating on finance processes and their related end-to-end chains, including Order-to-Cash, Purchase-to-Pay, and other pertinent accounting processes.
• Facilitate collaboration across Finance, IT, and other stakeholders by aligning on objectives, scope, and priorities.
• Oversee the backlog, convert business requirements into actionable work items, define acceptance criteria, and ensure thorough documentation.
• Prioritize features, tasks, and bugs while continually refining the issue board with a coherent structure.
• Lead roadmap topics from initial concept through to implementation.
• Track scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring transparent communication regarding status, risks, and decisions.
• Over 5 years of practical experience with Odoo.
• Senior-level proficiency in accounting and finance within an ERP framework (e.g., closing, reporting, control mechanisms, compliance).
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) as well as traditional methods (e.g., Waterfall, classical project management) with the ability to effectively apply both based on the context.
• Assertiveness coupled with an analytical, structured, and pragmatic working style.
• Educational background in economics or a degree in STEM/Business (or equivalent qualification).
• Exceptional written and verbal English skills (mandatory); proficiency in French is a plus; German is advantageous.
