This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of and prioritize the squad backlog; convert business requirements into clear user stories with comprehensive acceptance criteria.
• Ensure that user stories are well-articulated, appropriately scoped, and ready for the development team to engage.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, User Experience (UX) / Design teams, and engineering to further enhance requirements and deliver solutions focused on customer needs.
• Assist in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews) and provide ongoing clarifications to the team.
• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria; work together with QA and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee quality delivery.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the business and the squad, managing priorities and dependencies effectively.
• Ensure clear communication and regular progress updates with stakeholders and business partners.
• Foster continuous improvement through feedback, metrics, and iterative delivery.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business role or project management.
• At least 2 years of Agile experience as a Business Product Owner.
• Previous or current experience as a SAFe Product Owner is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with requirements management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or other similar platforms is preferred.
• A background in OMNI recordkeeping is advantageous.
• Skilled in analyzing complex problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Strong capabilities in gathering and documenting user story requirements.
• Excellent partner management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• An understanding of system design, analysis, and user testing.
