• Take ownership of Messaging & Positioning.
• Develop and enhance SubQ’s fundamental messaging, positioning, narrative, and category strategy for products, research initiatives, and go-to-market (GTM) efforts.
• Simplify Complex Technical Concepts.
• Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to gain a thorough understanding of intricate AI infrastructure concepts and convert them into clear, credible, and unique messaging for technical audiences.
• Lead Product Launches.
• Oversee messaging and GTM support for product launches, benchmark releases, research announcements, demonstrations, and technical campaigns.
• Influence the Company Narrative.
• Assist in defining how SubQ conveys its long-term vision, technical differentiation, and market positioning within the larger AI ecosystem.
• Collaborate Across Teams.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, research, leadership, recruiting, GTM, and content teams to ensure uniformity and clarity in all external communications.
• Support Content Led by Founders.
• Collaborate with leadership on impactful thought leadership, technical commentary, social media content, conference materials, and strategic communications.
• Grasp the Market Landscape.
• Monitor trends in AI/ML, LLMs, inference, agents, long-context systems, developer tools, open-source ecosystems, and cutting-edge AI research to guide positioning and messaging strategies.
• Create Technical GTM Strategy.
• Contribute to shaping developer-facing and technical GTM initiatives, including launch strategy, content strategy, competitive positioning, and ecosystem engagement.
• 4–8+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, developer marketing, technical content strategy, or other related GTM roles.
• Previous experience in marketing AI/ML infrastructure, developer tools, LLM platforms, data infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, inference systems, or similar technical products.
• Strong comprehension of the AI/ML ecosystem, developer tooling landscape, and cutting-edge AI infrastructure market.
• Outstanding copywriting, messaging, and storytelling abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to convert highly technical concepts into clear and engaging narratives for both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience in crafting and developing messaging directed at developers, engineers, researchers, technical founders, or enterprise technical buyers.
• Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to create differentiated market positioning.
• Capability to work directly with highly technical teams, including researchers and engineers.
• Comfortable functioning in fast-paced startup environments characterized by high ownership and ambiguity.
