This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Product Manager for Mortgage Servicing is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle within one of Guild's most intricate and critical areas, encompassing the full post-origination borrower experience.
• Create and uphold a comprehensive product roadmap for Mortgage Servicing that balances regulatory obligations, operational effectiveness, and borrower satisfaction.
• Convert enterprise business strategies into a prioritized, outcome-oriented product roadmap.
• Perform continuous market and borrower research to uncover opportunities and confirm assumptions prior to finalizing solutions.
• Lead exploratory efforts across intricate servicing workflows, which include delinquency management, default resolution, forbearance, loss mitigation, payment processing, and customer communication.
• Facilitate the complete delivery of initiatives in collaboration with Engineering, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Operations teams.
• Manage the development of business cases, prioritize investments, and align stakeholders for all significant servicing initiatives.
• Advocate for the advancement of product practices within the servicing sector, aiding colleagues in adopting modern, outcome-driven delivery methodologies.
• Establish success metrics for each major initiative and ensure post-launch value assessment aligns with business case commitments.
• A Bachelor's Degree directly related to the position or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• A Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, or a related field is required.
• At least seven years of experience in the Mortgage servicing sector, with direct involvement in default management, delinquency, loss mitigation, forbearance, foreclosure, or asset management processes.
• Over five years in a product management position, responsible for strategy, roadmap, discovery, and business outcomes for a complex product area.
• PMP or a similar product management certification is preferred (AIPMM, Pragmatic Institute, SAFe Product Management, or equivalent).
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills are essential.
• Strong analytical skills.
• A proven history of managing product strategy, roadmap, discovery, and business outcomes for a complex product area.
• Familiarity with contemporary product delivery methodologies, including iterative development, backlog management, and incremental release strategies.
• Solid understanding of GSE, CFPB, and state mortgage servicing compliance requirements.
• Experience with core servicing platforms (e.g., MSP, Black Knight, or equivalent) and the capacity to communicate effectively with both operations and technology teams.
• Demonstrated capability to manage product portfolios with conflicting regulatory, operational, and customer-facing priorities.
• Personal experience transitioning from traditional, waterfall-heavy delivery methods to a more iterative, outcome-focused approach is highly preferred.
