
Product Manager, Meraki Cloud Platform – Data & Telemetry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish and manage a multi-quarter roadmap for telemetry ingestion and data-platform capabilities to enhance Meraki's cloud strategy.
• Guide planning and prioritization efforts with engineering partners, balancing performance, scalability, reliability, customer requirements, and market opportunities.
• Convert distributed-system limitations and data needs into precise product requirements, user stories, and measurable outcomes for high-availability, low-latency services.
• Develop and promote APIs, tools, data structures, and access patterns that assist internal product teams and prospective AI/ML functionalities in effectively utilizing telemetry.
• Assess success through platform reliability, latency, scalability, adoption, and the customer experiences facilitated by the platform.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and at least 3 years of product management experience with cloud platforms, data infrastructure, SaaS networking, or a similar technical product domain.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience in technical product development.
• Proven experience in defining a product roadmap and requirements for at least one backend, platform, data, or infrastructure capability that has been delivered to production.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams on APIs, distributed systems, data pipelines, or cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in utilizing product, platform, or operational metrics to prioritize tasks and assess outcomes.
• Familiarity with one or more technologies related to streaming, messaging, caching, relational databases, or time-series, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, or time-series databases.
• Experience working in Kubernetes or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) environments.
• Ability to define data structures or access patterns for AI/ML models, analytics products, or autonomous agents.
• Experience with enterprise networking, telemetry platforms, observability products, or large-scale SaaS solutions.
• Capable of clearly communicating complex technical trade-offs to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
