This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as a liaison and communicate with customers (and potential customers) regarding your products.
• Develop a comprehensive roadmap for your products.
• Grasp the needs of users and the desires of customers for your products, enabling you to advocate for them during the delivery phases.
• Collaborate across all areas related to these products: business analysis, development, testing, support, technical authors, and pre-sales.
• Establish and document the detailed business requirements and/or user journeys for each deliverable.
• Identify market requirements for current and future products by conducting user research, supported by ongoing visits to customers and potential customers.
• Assist in developing your product and service roadmaps and ensure that development priorities align with NEC commercial opportunities, customer needs, and other market drivers.
• Act as the 'product champion' for relevant teams, ensuring they maintain focus on delivering product solutions that satisfy market needs.
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks effectively.
• Support sales by providing up-to-date product content, conducting internal briefings, and assisting with tender responses.
• Provide regular product updates to support business strategies and decision-making.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and customers for product inquiries.
• Create guides and other documentation for both internal and external audiences.
• Prior experience in the UK Public Sector, with a strong understanding of local government services, particularly in Welfare Benefits, along with system administration experience.
• Solid working knowledge of public sector organizations, demonstrating the ability to comprehend legal, commercial, and technical literature and convey this clearly to team members.
• Basic understanding of system administration and technical integration, such as setting up and executing batch processes within a software solution.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of exploring and articulating complex concepts to various stakeholders in any project.
• Some familiarity with the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of a system or solution utilized by local authorities.
• The capability to liaise and communicate with customers, including information gathering, presentations, and dispute resolution.
• Flexible, adaptable, and accustomed to working in environments where solutions must be delivered within challenging timeframes.
