Product Manager – Data Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Define and implement the technical roadmap for the data platform.

• Drive the development of cloud-based data environments utilizing Azure, Databricks, and associated technologies.

• Ensure the platform's scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence.

• Lead initiatives in FinOps, focusing on cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes.

• Implement and enhance DevOps/DataOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code standards.

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and oversee procurement activities.

• Supervise contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders, and invoice validation processes.

• Collaborate effectively with Data, AI, Engineering, Finance, and Business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in managing a data platform or technical product.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services, or similar cloud data ecosystems.

• Practical knowledge of FinOps and strategies for cloud cost optimization.

• Experience with DevOps/DataOps methodologies, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.

• Experience in working with technology vendors, contracts, and procurement processes.

• Understanding of budgeting, purchase orders, and financial governance procedures.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher.
