This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take charge of the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Contracting, enhancing contract coverage (B2B, export, time-of-use) and expanding support to new markets and regions.
• Propel the internationalisation of contracting capabilities, ensuring the platform adheres to compliant contracting across each regulatory jurisdiction without the need for bespoke builds.
• Advocate for the integration of AI within contracting processes - from automated compliance validation and intelligent contract generation to AI-assisted lifecycle communications - aiming for AI-enabled energy operations.
• Make data-driven prioritisation choices, utilizing AI-powered tools to enhance estimation accuracy and engaging in transparent discussions about trade-offs with stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor key product outcomes - contract compliance rates, price protection accuracy, communication timeliness, rate change accuracy - using dashboards and data to foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with upstream (Product Catalogue & Quoting) and downstream (Consumer Account Management, Billing) teams to ensure a seamless integration throughout the customer account lifecycle.
• Confidently represent users, advocating for research across supplier operations teams, compliance officers, and end consumers while leveraging AI-powered research tools to expedite insights at scale.
• Develop long-lasting relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory and compliance teams, effectively influencing to drive alignment and results.
• Create and uphold a prioritised roadmap, drafting PRDs and specifications, and utilizing AI to hasten documentation and analysis.
• Proven experience in owning and delivering a contracting, agreements, or subscription management capability end-to-end within a SaaS platform.
• Experience in scaling a product across various markets or regulatory jurisdictions while ensuring a cohesive platform.
• Strong history of employing AI and data to guide product decisions, with a clear vision for how AI can revolutionise contract management at scale.
• Capability to make independent, data-informed product decisions and convey them effectively.
• Experience in managing intricate stakeholder relationships, including commercial partners, regulatory/compliance teams, and cross-functional product colleagues.
• Practitioner-level knowledge of Agile methodologies with experience in leading or contributing to delivery ceremonies.
• Experience in sectors with complex contracting needs is advantageous - such as energy, insurance, telecoms, financial services, or other regulated SaaS environments.
• Comfortable with technical concepts (APIs, data models, rules engines, compliance logic).
• Familiarity with compliance-driven product requirements (consumer protection, cooling-off periods, regulatory reporting) is highly desirable.
