This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for the designated area, overseeing everything from problem identification to delivery and iterative improvements.
• Lead exploratory initiatives with Finance, Payroll, and Operations to address manual bottlenecks, prevent invoice errors, and enhance customer trust.
• Collaborate with engineering and design as part of a product-engineering-design triad to facilitate problem discovery and the design of solutions.
• Enhance the visibility and resolution of payroll cost changes, pricing adjustments, and invoice discrepancies.
• Minimize escalations and rework for the Operations and Payroll teams.
• Manage the payroll-to-invoice validation process, ensuring that invoices are accurate, clear, and easily understandable.
• Develop a solution for correcting invoices without the need to cancel and reissue them.
• Maintain an accurate single source of truth for platform pricing while accommodating sales-cycle flexibility.
• Ensure that fees and billing configurations do not disrupt downstream invoice data.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in product management.
• Proven experience in managing complex B2B SaaS or fintech products related to billing, invoicing, pricing, or financial operations.
• Strong grasp of product fundamentals with the capability to manage the product beyond just the backlog.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management.
• Clear and concise communication abilities.
• Experience with platform-level products that involve data models, integrations, and inter-service dependencies.
• Capability to evaluate trade-offs across product, operations, and engineering.
• Strong commercial acumen linking pricing structures, invoice accuracy, and collection timing to the profit and loss statement.
• Ability to set success metrics prior to scoping and reassess them when progress hits a standstill.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguous, cross-functional environments while driving towards clarity.
• Experience working in a high-trust, autonomous team setup.
• Ability to utilize AI as a force multiplier without relinquishing judgment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP integrations, such as Netsuite or Xero, is a plus.
