This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate growth strategies for the Strategic Business Unit(s) (SBU).
• Oversee the portfolio in accordance with Global Product Management to enhance the overall product mix towards more differentiated and higher-margin offerings.
• Collaborate and contribute to the development of a multi-generational product plan.
• Implement and support pricing strategies in line with Global Product Management.
• Work together with Supply Chain and Procurement to maximize profitability through effective cost management (ensuring the right products are made at the appropriate assets, developing a regional supply strategy, and navigating supply constraints).
• Partner with sales teams on critical deals and proposals to boost win rates.
• Manage the "backend" product processes and serve as the main contact for all coordinating teams regarding Regulatory/Supplier Issues, New Product Introductions, etc.
• Collaborate with Product Regulatory, Product Support, Planning, Pricing, and Applications to aid in raw material management, inventory oversight, and regional production strategies.
• Maintain the price book to guarantee accurate and timely updates.
• Lead the tactical product management initiatives and regional execution of the product lifecycle strategy, including the regional SBU forecasting process.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field (Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, etc.).
• Over 7 years of professional industrial experience, preferably including prior roles in Applications, Sales, Global Marketing, or R&D.
• Preference for candidates with experience in technical applications and sales.
• A strategic thinker and problem solver capable of applying analytical solutions to business challenges.
• Strong organizational and cross-functional team management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and leadership abilities, with a knack for motivating team members.
• Proven capability to collaborate and influence across various teams.
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills in English.
• Familiarity with industry and customer dynamics or the capacity to quickly learn about Solenis markets and technologies.
• Understanding of marketing and pricing principles.
• Profitability and growth-oriented mindset; willing to challenge the sales team as necessary; possesses sufficient financial acumen to utilize decision support systems to engage with sales and marketing to drive specific action plans and programs.
