Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product strategy for essential platform elements, including symbol pages, social streams, user profiles, and community features.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define, develop, and deliver high-quality product experiences tailored for both new and engaged users.

• Establish requirements and workflows to maintain product quality, performance, and platform integrity.

• Work alongside third-party vendors and data providers to assess, integrate, and sustain solutions that address platform requirements.

• Lead features that enhance user discovery of content, enable following of stocks, crypto, and other assets of interest, and promote ongoing engagement with relevant markets and ideas.

• Spot opportunities to enhance social and community dynamics that fortify the Stocktwits network, including user following, community discovery, and relevant content recommendations via algorithms.

• Collaborate with Community and Support teams to elevate creator content and ensure that streams highlight the most pertinent, high-quality discussions for users.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to bolster monetization efforts on core platform elements, including programmatic and native advertising placements.

• Utilize data and user research to pinpoint platform enhancements that generate both business value and user satisfaction.

• Assist in go-to-market initiatives for core platform features across web, iOS, and Android platforms.

• Serve as an advocate for our users by gathering and synthesizing data and insights from user research, product data, market trends, and competitive analysis to identify and address pain points, as well as uncover opportunities that align with business objectives and user benefits.

• Drive OKRs and KPIs for your product squad.

• Develop product requirements and documentation.

• Plan and execute go-to-market activities.

• Communicate effectively about priorities, strategies, and execution plans.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Product Management, digital media, or content partnerships, preferably within the financial technology sector.

• Demonstrated history of successfully launching B2C / consumer-facing products.

• Familiarity with and experience in agile methodologies and practices.

• Proficient in consumer web metrics and analytics tools.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on execution and delivery.

• Capability to leverage data, research, and market analysis to guide product decisions.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to accurately estimate workloads and meet deadlines.

• Attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in fostering relationships and collaborating effectively within Product and Engineering teams.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A keen interest in financial markets is a plus.
