This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of a significant segment of the Nylas product portfolio, ensuring that product strategy and execution are aligned with the company’s overarching objectives focused on AI-driven workflows and communication infrastructure.

• Convert intricate technical ideas and infrastructure into clear value propositions for customers and the business, exercising sound product judgment to make informed decisions in highly technical areas.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering to define product direction, assess technical trade-offs, establish requirements, and oversee execution from initial discovery to product launch.

• Work in conjunction with Marketing to craft go-to-market strategies, positioning, and narratives aimed at developers within a swiftly changing AI environment.

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of how developers are constructing AI-driven applications today, identifying their challenges, and recognizing how Nylas can become an essential component of their technology stack.

• Lead the discovery process with developers and enterprise clients through beta programs, feedback cycles, and ongoing validation to confirm that we are addressing significant market challenges.

• Manage the launch and documentation process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality releases and an exceptional developer experience.

• Function with a high degree of autonomy and urgency, acting swiftly on low-risk initiatives while upholding strong product judgment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of product management experience in technical product environments.

• Proven experience working closely with engineering teams on requirements, trade-offs, and assessing technical risks.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively with incomplete information.

• Background in software engineering, technical product development, or demonstrated experience as a builder, either professionally or personally.

• Experience in delivering AI-powered features, workflows, or developer tools.

• Proven track record of taking products from conception to launch (0 → 1), whether in a professional or personal context.

• Familiarity with APIs, developer platforms, or infrastructure products.
