Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of key product development processes from start to finish: scope, prioritize, launch, and iterate, while elevating quality standards across the organization.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to nurture an entrepreneurial culture rooted in transparency, rigor, and accountability.

• Assist in defining and promoting the product vision as Indigo experiences rapid growth.

• Create and sustain roadmaps, feature specifications, and launch plans that consistently enhance the experience for both users and underwriters.

• Introduce structure to uncertainty. Translate overarching business objectives into clear, actionable product initiatives.

• Actively utilize AI tools in your workflow: research, synthesis, prototyping, and documentation. Use them as leverage, not just a novelty.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in product management, including at least one successful 0-to-1 build that you take pride in.

• A proven history of owning outcomes rather than merely outputs. You set high standards for yourself and uphold them.

• Proficiency with AI-powered tools (LLMs, copilots, automation) and an intuition for where they can generate genuine product value.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You can unite a group or compose a concise PRD without needing guidance.

• Highly analytical with the ability to narrate stories through data. You leverage numbers to build conviction and foster alignment, rather than merely reporting status.

• Strong instincts for cross-functional collaboration. You know how to lead by influencing others, rather than through authority.

• A proactive mindset. You iterate quickly, learn rapidly, and do not wait for perfection.

• A bachelor's degree is required; a technical or software background is advantageous.
