This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of portfolio management and governance practices within Castrol and the wider organization.

• Oversee and manage the complete Lubricants Product Portfolio.

• Ensure adherence to and continually enhance the portfolio management process and product standards.

• Monitor, maintain, and enhance product lifecycle management tools along with key metrics.

• Create and spearhead the ongoing improvement of product lifecycle management tools, standards, practices, and metrics.

• Conduct business analysis and provide actionable insights aimed at reducing portfolio complexity and enhancing profitability.

• Collaborate with product managers and Performance Units regarding complexity targets, profitability thresholds, and proactive end-of-life management.

• Serve as the primary contact for portfolio inquiries and assist with data and tool access.

• Oversee operational compliance across markets, functions, and businesses, and lead corrective actions when deviations arise.

• Aid in the preparation and facilitation of the monthly Product Decision Board for senior leaders and VPs.

• Lead ad-hoc projects related to the project portfolio, processes, or tools.


⛳️ Requirements

• Analytical expertise with the capability to utilize analytics for problem-solving and decision-making.

• Experience in managing and analyzing substantial data sets.

• Proficiency in Power BI is preferable.

• Background in product management.

• Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Experience in project management or prior involvement in projects.

• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.

• Ability to cultivate relationships and business networks on a global scale.

• Capacity to understand a complex global product portfolio and matrix organization.

• Strong skills in change management and project execution.

• Proficient data management and analytical capabilities.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Self-motivated individual with a drive to lead and engage in projects.

• Capability to analyze, interpret, and present large sets of data.

• Familiarity with Excel and Power BI.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong skills in prioritization and time management.

• Availability to work from 9 AM to 6 PM with some overlap with US early hours.
