This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Deliver expert production support for Oracle WebLogic and Eclipse GlassFish application servers, encompassing configuration, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
• Oversee and enhance Apache and Microsoft IIS web services, which includes site configuration, application pool management, and SSL certificate management.
• Aid SFTP/SSH file transfer systems through user access management, key administration, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Manage Active Directory tasks, including user and group account management, along with resolving authentication issues.
• Coordinate and facilitate code deployments across various environments in collaboration with development teams.
• Utilize Broadcom CA Workload Automation to create and oversee batch jobs within UAT and PROD environments.
• Diagnose production incidents spanning web servers, databases, and the entire technology stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement durable solutions.
• Monitor production systems and react to alerts to maintain reliability and performance.
• Engage in change management processes, ensuring that production modifications adhere to established controls and best practices.
• A graduate degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in a comparable position.
• Strong expertise in application server management and production support.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic and GlassFish application servers, particularly in non-production settings.
• Proficient in Microsoft IIS and web server administration, including site configuration and optimization.
• Knowledgeable in SFTP/SSH server administration and troubleshooting secure file transfer issues.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server, specifically in connectivity, SQL, and performance optimization.
• Experience in Active Directory administration and resolving authentication and authorization challenges.
• Background in executing and supporting code deployments/releases in both non-production and production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems within a production support framework.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
