This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Installation of new tools at customer locations.
• Adheres to all protocols and delivers consistent results within established cycle times.
• Ensures a reliable warranty commencement.
• Assesses, analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves technical equipment issues associated with installation.
• Troubleshoots and repairs moderate system-level problems utilizing the IE2's technical expertise, education, and training.
• Seeks assistance from senior Engineers and Management when encountering issues that may surpass current knowledge, education, or training.
• Compiles field service reports and daily updates on installation progress and discrepancies.
• Contributes to the post-activity Quality Feedback Report.
• Secures all necessary international travel documents and organizes personal affairs to prepare for extended travel.
• Manages personal finances to avoid disruptions in scheduled activities, even during prolonged travel.
• Travels both domestically and internationally via commercial transportation to customer locations.
• Collaborates with Senior Engineers, TSE, or Managers to develop and execute Plans of Action (POAs).
• Master's Level Degree with no related work experience.
• Bachelor's Level Degree with 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Capability to comprehend and troubleshoot issues in software, electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electro-optical systems.
• Understanding of computer theory, various operating systems, and relevant operating system software, including networking in Windows, Unix, or Novell environments.
• Basic knowledge of automation functionality for the assigned equipment set.
• Must successfully complete required and ongoing technical training to gain comprehensive knowledge of company equipment, including installation procedures and the application of diagnostic techniques and service aids.
• Proficient in the MS Office suite of applications.
• Must achieve and maintain Installation Certification Level 3, demonstrating proficiency in complete product installation and system-level repair within a product family.
• Knowledge of semiconductor industry processes, required to attend the KT class for Introduction to semiconductor processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to understand customer requirements.
• Ability to perform under pressure and adhere to tight timelines, as installation cycle times are committed to customers and can affect their production schedules.
