Product Experience Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver Sleek’s MTD landing page and web app frontend, ensuring performance scores exceed 90 on Lighthouse (compliant with Core Web Vitals).

• Create responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect user interfaces using React, Next.js, and TailwindCSS, in accordance with Sleek’s design system.

• Minimize initial page load time and optimize for SEO to enhance visibility and user conversion rates.

• Develop a microsite framework for upcoming product verticals, featuring reusable layouts and modular content components.

• Implement schema markup, meta optimization, and structured data to enhance search visibility.

• Enable the Growth team to independently launch microsites without developer dependencies.

• Integrate a headless CMS (Sanity, Contentful, or Strapi) with Sleek’s marketing websites.

• Empower non-technical teams to autonomously update content, landing pages, and campaigns.

• Establish versioning, preview workflows, and rollbacks for content modifications.

• Deploy and configure Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Mixpanel for comprehensive event tracking.

• Implement A/B testing (using Optimizely or VWO) to experiment with messaging, layout, and funnel enhancements.

• Provide actionable analytics dashboards and ensure event accuracy across all web properties.

• Create and launch a secondary marketing site aimed at Sleek’s next business vertical, aligned with the new marketing initiative.

• Maintain brand consistency, SEO optimization, and analytics instrumentation.

• Achieve measurable conversion metrics linked to campaign performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 4–6 years of total engineering experience, including 1–2 years specifically within Marketing or Growth Engineering roles.

• Strong mastery of frontend engineering with React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Proven ability to navigate complex environments, with experience in Micro Front Ends (MFE) being a significant advantage.

• Proficient in SCSS for high-fidelity UI; bonus points for expertise in TailwindCSS or Chakra UI.

• Dedicated to code quality through rigorous unit testing using Jest.

• Extensive experience in SEO and performance optimization, with a proven history of maintaining Lighthouse scores above 90.

• Strong integration skills with modern CMS platforms (Sanity, Contentful, or Strapi) and advanced analytics tools, including Google Tag Manager and GA4.

• Demonstrated success in cross-functional delivery of data-driven, SEO-friendly web applications, including the setup and execution of A/B testing frameworks.

• High ownership mindset, capable of executing in ambiguous, fast-paced, startup-like environments. You are hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive.

• Experience with Zapier or other no-code automation tools to connect engineering and marketing operations would be a plus.

• Must be located in India (working from 9 am to 6 pm Singapore time).
