Product Engineer – Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• You will assist us in creating dependable and scalable product experiences, taking full ownership of backend systems.

• Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams, you will transform ideas into high-quality features that are successfully launched.

• As a member of a product squad, you will engage with designers, product managers, and skilled engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and AI domains.

• You will oversee features from implementation to rollout and analyze their impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Kotlin (or Java) and a web framework such as Micronaut or Spring, preferably in a SaaS setting.

• Backend development is your primary focus, and you are open to venturing into web or mobile development when required by features.

• You incorporate AI coding assistants (such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) into your workflow, or you are keen to embrace them.

• You prioritize user impact over ticket completion, consistently asking what would genuinely benefit the user.
