This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.
• Develop educational products and features from initial concept to final production.
• Collaborate directly with educators, technical teams, and educational partners to grasp workflows, challenges, and priorities.
• Transform complex or vague requirements into clear, actionable, and practical product solutions.
• Create and design product experiences that seamlessly integrate with learning platforms and educational systems.
• Engage with frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and data models as necessary.
• Rapidly build prototypes, test them with users, and evolve successful concepts into robust, maintainable products.
• Collaborate closely with Backend and AI Engineers to ensure that technical and AI capabilities are genuinely beneficial in real educational workflows.
• Enhance usability, reliability, performance, and product quality through continuous iteration.
• Independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive practical enhancements.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools where suitable to speed up delivery while ensuring strong engineering judgment and product quality.
• Produce clean, tested, and maintainable code.
• Over 2 years of professional experience in software engineering focused on developing production web products or applications.
• Proven experience in building and deploying user-facing web products.
• Strong proficiency with modern frontend technologies like React, Next.js, Vue, or similar frameworks.
• Capability to work on both frontend and backend, with a deeper expertise in at least one area.
• Familiarity with TypeScript/Node.js, Python, APIs, databases, and contemporary web application architectures.
• Solid grasp of authentication, permissions, validation processes, workflows, and data-driven products.
• Experience in transforming incomplete requirements into practical software solutions.
• Strong product judgment and the ability to distill complex user needs into simpler terms.
• A proactive working style, with the confidence to explore, suggest, and test solutions without waiting for explicit instructions.
• Comfortable engaging with non-technical users and educational partners to enhance understanding of the product.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, modern cloud platforms, and application deployment.
• Strong sense of ownership, debugging abilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
