• Develop and enhance adaptive AI systems that customize coaching based on individual student learning styles, revision habits, and preparation methods.

• Tackle intricate AI challenges, including broadening support from objective to subjective subjects, creating scalable evaluation frameworks, and maintaining product quality as the platform expands.

• Design, execute, and persistently refine rigorous AI evaluation frameworks to assess model performance, output quality, hallucination rates, and actual learning outcomes.

• Prototype innovative AI features by writing code, constructing proof-of-concepts (POCs), conducting experiments, and validating concepts before allocating engineering resources.

• Manage the product roadmap by setting priorities, sequencing initiatives, and ensuring the team concentrates on the most impactful opportunities for both students and educators.

• Establish clear success metrics for each product release, analyze performance, lead post-launch assessments, and cultivate a culture of rapid experimentation and ongoing learning.

• Represent the voice of students and teachers through user research, synthesizing feedback, and transforming insights into impactful product enhancements.

• Collaborate closely with Growth and Commercial teams to create product experiences and engagement loops that facilitate sustainable user acquisition, retention, and business expansion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in developing AI-powered products, with a solid grasp of prompting architecture, model behavior, and crafting intuitive AI experiences that extend beyond basic chatbot functionalities.

• Practical technical skills, with the confidence to prototype concepts, conduct AI evaluations, debug model outputs using AI coding tools, and progressively contribute to a codebase built with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS. While you don't need to be a software engineer, comfort in moving swiftly without depending on engineering support for early-stage experiments is essential.

• Extensive knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), including context windows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, fine-tuning trade-offs, and robust methods for assessing model quality.

• Strong product management expertise, with a proven track record of owning products throughout the entire lifecycle—from discovery and definition to delivery, iteration, and continuous enhancement—within B2C and/or B2B settings.

• Data-driven decision-making abilities, with experience utilizing analytics platforms such as Metabase, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or similar tools to establish success metrics, evaluate outcomes, and guide product decisions from the beginning.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to align engineers, commercial teams, and executive leadership around a clear product vision while thriving in a dynamic, low-process environment.

• A strong passion for creating meaningful impact, emphasizing outcomes over outputs, and a genuine desire to develop products that positively transform students' life opportunities.
