Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage and maintain the Render KV fleet effectively.

• Work closely with design, product, fellow engineers, and cross-functional team members.

• Assist in the evolution and advancement of the Render KV product as it expands and becomes more complex over time.

• Engage in team planning, roadmapping, and setting objectives.

• Contribute to shaping team culture and practices as the organization grows.

• Aid in enhancing the KV product with new functionalities.

• Share on-call duties with the rest of your team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software development. Extra consideration for experience in a small, rapidly growing startup.

• Proven experience working collaboratively with product and design stakeholders.

• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to make practical decisions regarding your work.

• Comfort in navigating a distributed system.

• Experience managing a KV datastore at scale.

• Familiarity with modern tools for software build and deployment processes.

• Nice-to-haves: Experience in multiple roles and working across the technology stack, both collaboratively and independently.

• Solid understanding of web frameworks, APIs, and databases, with experience in various programming languages.

• Familiarity with building for product-driven growth and modern enterprise audiences.

• Experience with any technologies utilized by the Render product: Go, Typescript, React, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform, Temporal.
