Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Your primary objective: Take ownership of a segment of Orbit from concept to deployment.

• Develop the product & take charge of features: Be responsible for features from initial idea to launch.

• Collaborate with agents & enhance the harness: Focus on specification-driven, agentic development.

• Enhance system intelligence: Treat context as a foundational element and document workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in software engineering: You have created actual products and managed them in a production environment, preferably developing something from inception to completion.

• Write clean, type-safe code with a thoughtfully designed data model.

• Make and justify technical choices: Including data models, API design, and balancing trade-offs.

• You are already working in an agentic manner – familiarity with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar).

• Exceptional written communication skills – ability to write clearly, structurally, and precisely.

• Self-motivated and organized – capable of remote, independent work with minimal internal meetings.

• Located in the EU; proficiency in German is an advantage.
