Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with founders, product teams, and design to bring new concepts and ideas to life.

• Integrate AI-driven functionalities into the core framework of Linear.

• Revamp our collaborative content editor utilized across all internal platforms.

• Develop new user-facing features with attractive and scalable UI components.

• Continuously enhance application performance with a focus on optimization.

• Streamline our software development processes to ensure the team maintains high productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in developing customer-facing products at a software company with a strong engineering standard.

• Solid foundation in React and TypeScript, with experience across the entire stack (Browser technologies, Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL).

• Proven ability to drive complex, end-to-end features (not merely incremental updates and refactors) that have a noticeable impact on the product.

• Product sensibility: you prioritize UX, speed, and refinement, and advocate for quality when something doesn’t meet expectations.

• Ability to work independently without extensive PM oversight; you can help define the problem as well as implement solutions.

• High ownership mindset: a self-motivated, full-lifecycle builder who takes a feature from concept to delivery.

• Flourishes in a remote, asynchronous environment within a lean, high-output team.

• Experience in a startup or a company that genuinely upholds a high engineering standard.
