Product Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Accountable for managing projects related to development programs and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, with a strong commitment to Amcor's sustainability initiatives.

• Oversee the New Product Development process from concept to launch industrialization within Amcor and at the customer site, including managing project costs and trial budget in conjunction with the Cross Functional team.

• Manage the project portfolio within the Innovation Management System.

• Responsible for enhancement and maintenance projects concerning existing products, in collaboration with Procurement, Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Amcor Flexibles plants.

• Engage in close cooperation with raw material suppliers and packaging machinery manufacturers.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or MS degree in Chemistry, Polymers, or Material Science.

• Experience in packaging and plastic processing.

• Background in the medical market is a plus.

• Proven success in developing new platforms and advanced technologies.

• A strong passion for R&D and a focus on a High Performance Culture.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and prioritization skills.

• A strong collaborator and team player.

• Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of another European language is advantageous.
