• Creates user experiences for clearly defined projects under supervision. Engages in sprints, develops wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes, and collaborates with the team to uphold best practices.
• Takes ownership of design outputs for intricate projects with limited oversight. Crafts UI/UX solutions, performs user research, iterates based on feedback, and guides junior designers.
• Produces "case-study worthy" experiences. Extracts and conveys business value, anticipates potential risks, enhances team processes, and mentors other designers.
• Oversees design engagements from start to finish. Facilitates workshops, addresses complex design issues, guarantees quality deliverables, and fosters innovation throughout projects.
• Manages several design engagements simultaneously. Ensures consistent quality, provides guidance to teams, identifies training needs, and supports design delivery at the portfolio level.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in product design, UX/UI, human-centered design, or a related area. Experience in Agile or software delivery settings is preferred.
• Expertise in UX/UI design principles, visual design, interaction design, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Capability to convert business objectives and user needs into intuitive, functional, and visually engaging designs. Proficient in identifying user pain points, suggesting innovative solutions, and iterating based on feedback.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. Able to present design rationale in a clear and persuasive manner.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects, iterations, and deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Experience in participating in or facilitating Agile rituals is a plus.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks or design handoff processes to engineering teams is advantageous.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
